The Post That Never Ends

PHOTO BOMBIN'
by two year old Riley roo

 1. I love that he's chillin off to the side of Ryder and Aleah in the same postion and then in my next picture he's changed to the same postion as they are in, tummy time for Ryder, Aleah and Riley!  So funny.  My two sisters and our families (except Steph's husband Brandon, who had to work) had a little late birthday get together at Kami and Roger's house and then we skyped my parents.  It was a lot of fun and Kami's boys made Cade and I laugh quite a bit.  They are funny little guys.  Landon at the end of skyping my parents yelled, "LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" then turned around and chucked a plastic golf ball right into his little brother's (Riley) eye.  Sweet and then so not.  Kami describes him as the sour patch kid (sometimes he's sweet and then sour though, this was one of those times).  Don't worry, Riley was over it pretty quick, like two seconds.
2. I love the dramatic look on Aleah's face in the first picture.  Don't worry, Ryder isn't as much of a bully as her face and his chewing on her hands makes you think. :)
3. Ryder made Aleah look like the easy baby that night.  It was weird.  She was happy and he was fussy.  That has never happened before.  I AM LOVING THIS HAPPY BABY THING!

And this fun little girl is getting to know her strength a little bit.
It started something like this....
  And ended like that.

I put Aleah on the bed with me and put her in her boppy and started laundry.  Then she decided she wanted out of her boppy.  So I grabbed my camera and this is what I caught...

What in the world??  Child is going to mobile in no time I think.. And I think she's going to always be ahead of me all the time, off and into things.  I am in trouble.
It was pretty funny to watch.  I put her back in on her belly to take a picture of what she looked like when she started and she did it all over again.

So I guess we'll just stick with this boppy position.

I call this one, "Springtime in the Wintertime".  It's good right?
Just like everyone else it seems, we too are ready for this cold stuff to end and for pretty flowers to start growing and the sun to peak out of the clouds.  Ready to take walks and show Aleah what the world is like outside.
She wears spring well.

Instead of taking a warm spring walk we called stopping by the Peterson's house good enough.  We haven't seen Benson since the first week of December on his blessing day.  So much has changed!  They are still too cute though, that hasn't changed.  It was good to get out and see our friends!  I took just a few pictures....

I wanna squeeze those cheeks!

Someone woke up!
At least she was in a good mood.
We decided she could stay up for a little bit with us (as if we have anything to say about it).

 Super Bowl Sunday!
I'm a fan, because the food is always good...Pretty sure usually I could care less who wins though.
I thought it was cute cousins Emma & Eliza and Aunt Autumn were paying so much attention to Aleah.
And then Cade came in and said,
"Let's bless the food"
and just like that they were gone. :)

So, I guess I took a lot of pictures this last week, we had a good week.  Three and a half months old is proving to be a wonderful age.  Aleah has been so happy and so good.  I love the little squeaks she forces out and her facial expressions when she is happy and trying to laugh or "talk".  So enjoying her!
Happy February!  It's going to be a good month!
